Colin Connelly, PT, DPT
Colin was raised in Guttenberg, Iowa and attended Clayton Ridge High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from UW-Platteville in Biology in 2019. He then attended Clarke University where he graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2022.
While in school, he completed a clinical rotation at Physical Therapy Solutions in Dubuque that eventually progressed into a job after graduation. Colin has an interest in all outpatient orthopedic patients, with a high interest in athletes and TMJ patients. Colin plans to get his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association later this year or early next year. At Clarke, he was heavily educated on the McKenzie approach for treating the spine and plans to take more courses in the future to better treat this patient population. In his time at Clarke, he received certifications in HawkGrips IASTM I and sole supports orthotics.
Colin is the youngest of 3 siblings, Heaven and Colten. His parents, Chad and Kathy, still live in Guttenberg. Colin currently resides in Kieler, WI. Outside of work, Colin likes to stay very active. In the winter months, he plays rec league basketball in Dubuque a couple days of the week and occasionally downhill skis. During the summer months, he enjoys spending his time on the golf course, going to concerts, or out on his family’s boat tubing or fishing. Additionally, he enjoys hiking and wants to visit as many of the National Parks as he can. If he isn’t busy with those, he enjoys watching sports on TV, and going to college or professional games if time allows for it.
