Nick was raised in Dyersville and graduated from Western Dubuque High School. He later obtained a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Loras College in 2016. While in college, Nick was on the Loras wrestling team and achieved both NWCA Academic All-American and NCAA All-American honors in 2015. He then studied at Clarke University graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2020.
After graduating, Nick spent two years working for Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. His areas of focus were general orthopedics and sports medicine. He also received post-graduate training in functional capacity evaluations, work conditioning, and return-to-work programming. While at Mercy, Nick played a lead role in the occupational health department implementing pre-employment testing, work conditioning, functional capacity evaluations, and ergonomic assessments.
At Physical Therapy Solutions, Nick enjoys seeing people from varying age groups with a broad array of injuries. To best assist his diverse group of patients, Nick continued to pursue specialized training. Two of these specializations include orthopaedics and vestibular impairments.
Nick loves to connect with each of his patients bringing a strong emphasis on exercise, health, and wellness. In his spare time, Nick enjoys spending time doing all things outdoors: hunting, fishing, boating, you name it.
