Ted Kruse, PT – Physical Therapist 

Ted was raised in Dyersville and attended Beckman Catholic High School.  He received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Iowa State University in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology in 2002.  He then studied at University of Iowa, where he graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2004.

After graduation, he was employed by Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers in Waukee, IA.  He spent two and a half years as a staff physical therapist and two years as the clinic manager.  The clinic focus was in outpatient orthopedics; which he gained experience in sports medicine, general orthopedics, and worker’s compensation.  Ted has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association in the past.  He likes to implement exercise and a strong manual therapy approach to rehabilitation. He utilizes the McKenzie method for assessment and treatment of the spine, as well as Mulligan techniques for the spine and extremities.  He is also certified in Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (Astym) by Performance Dynamics for treatment of soft tissue injuries, as well as received his certification in LSVT BIG for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders.

Ted has been practicing since 2005 and returned to the Dyersville community in 2009.  He and his wife Terese currently reside in Dyersville with their children Maria, Luke, Theo, and Micah.
